The Cybersecurity and Network Intelligence (CNI) journal is committed to ensuring a transparent, fair, and rigorous editorial process. Every manuscript submitted to CNI undergoes a comprehensive multi-stage review and quality check to maintain the journal’s high academic standards and integrity.

1. Initial Screening Upon submission, each manuscript is first reviewed by the editorial office to ensure it meets basic formatting, language, and scope requirements. Manuscripts that do not comply with submission guidelines or fall outside the journal’s focus may be returned to the authors without further review.

2. Editorial Review After passing the initial check, the manuscript is assigned to an Academic Editor or Section Editor with expertise in the manuscript’s subject area. The editor evaluates the manuscript’s novelty, scientific relevance, and methodological soundness. If deemed suitable, the editor forwards the paper for peer review.

3. Peer Review Process CNI follows a double-blind peer review process, where both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous. At least two independent expert reviewers are invited to evaluate the manuscript based on originality, significance, methodology, clarity, and ethical soundness. Reviewers provide detailed reports with recommendations: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject.

4. Author Revisions If revisions are requested, the authors are provided with consolidated reviewer comments and given an appropriate amount of time to address all concerns. Revised manuscripts must be resubmitted with a point-by-point response to reviewer comments, highlighting the changes made.

5. Final Editorial Decision After revisions are submitted, the handling editor reviews the revised manuscript and may consult with the original reviewers. Based on the feedback and editorial judgment, a final decision is made: acceptance, further revision, or rejection. Authors are promptly informed of the outcome.

6. Production and Publication Accepted manuscripts proceed to the production stage, where they undergo copyediting, typesetting, and final proofing. Authors are given a chance to review the proofs before final publication. The finalized article is then published online with open access, and assigned a DOI for global citation and indexing.

The editorial team at CNI is committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethical publishing and scientific excellence. We value the contributions of our authors and reviewers and strive to ensure an efficient, respectful, and constructive editorial experience for all participants.
