At Sensor Networks and Cloud Computing (SNCC), we uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct in all aspects of the publication process. Our journal is committed to ensuring that the principles of transparency, integrity, and accountability are followed throughout the lifecycle of scholarly communication. All parties involved in the publication process—including authors, reviewers, editors, and the publisher—are expected to adhere strictly to our ethical guidelines, which are informed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) best practices.
For Authors
Manuscripts must be original, not previously published, and not under consideration elsewhere.
All authors should have made a significant contribution to the research and approve the final version before submission.
Proper credit must be given through accurate citation of sources, and data should be presented honestly without fabrication or manipulation.
Authors must disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts of interest that could influence the research or its interpretation.
Ethical approval must be obtained for studies involving human participants, animals, or sensitive data, and should be clearly stated in the manuscript.
Any form of plagiarism, including AI-generated content without meaningful human oversight, is strictly prohibited.
For Reviewers
Reviewers must maintain confidentiality and treat all submissions as privileged information.
They should provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback based on the content of the manuscript.
Any potential conflict of interest should be declared, and reviewers should recuse themselves if there is any bias.
Reviewers must not use any unpublished information from the manuscript for their own benefit.
For Editors
Editors must ensure that all manuscripts are evaluated fairly and without discrimination based on gender, race, institutional affiliation, or nationality.
Editorial decisions are based solely on the academic merit, originality, and relevance of the manuscript.
Editors must avoid conflicts of interest and ensure that the peer review process is unbiased, confidential, and efficient.
They are responsible for investigating and taking appropriate action in response to ethical concerns or complaints, including potential retractions or corrections.
Misconduct and Corrections
In cases of proven research misconduct—such as plagiarism, data falsification, or unethical experimentation—SNCC reserves the right to retract published articles and notify relevant institutions. Corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern will be issued as needed to maintain the integrity of the scientific record.
SNCC is dedicated to promoting ethical research and responsible publishing practices. We encourage authors, reviewers, and readers to report any concerns about ethical misconduct to the editorial office for prompt and thorough investigation.
